Ujjain Professor's murder-'A black day' for Indian education

Professor Sabharwal's gruesome murder last week in front of a large contingent of student’s union representatives, jawans, fellow professors and security staff in Ujjain is shocking. The only consolation was the sole evidence of an honest watchman who has come out in front of the media and promised to expose the real culprits. Thanks to ABVP and NSUI unions and their political clout the MP police have just made some formality arrests and the real culprits are at large.

This incident shows the extent to which our education is polluted and corrupted thanks to the political union system and the young student leaders later on lose direction in life falling prey as Hench men and Goons to the hungry politicians who are after their political enemies with a vengeance. I think high time the student union's are banned through out the country as they are no longer the symbols of democracy and in its place each university can have a selected team of young outstanding academic rank holders who will represent the colleges in all forums

Let the soul of the Professor rest in peace and this never ending madness of student elections stop once and for all!
