Our Man is back with a bang-'the one and only little master'
There were cries for his retirement, people had written him off, injury after injury, his own ex player friends and now TV commentators suggested that he was afraid of risk of failure, but that little man who had kept quiet all along in this intense drama of speculation and media madness simply let the bat do the talking when the DLF tournament opened against Caribbean’s. Some majestic sixes, classy boundaries, swift running between the wickets and above all the stamina and energy to remain through 50 overs in high humidity after 6 months of lay off simply proved that he is still arguably the World's best batsman on view and his detractors have to wait for at least another 2-3 years for the inevitable retirement to happen.
Sachin is India's jewel of sports and a global ambassador for the country and it may take a while for somebody to break his stupendous records in both the forms of the game. It's sad that in a country with very few achievements in the sporting arena at world level our media still continues to hound and cast doubts on the ability and commitment of one of the greatest cricketers of our era!

Like a true champion he has bounced back. May be his best years are over, but there still a lot of cricket left in him. Moreover, now he also has a point to prove.
